Now there will be even more ways for me to dream about taking a trip to Hawaii.

I am pretty sure if you ride your atv like that the people who you rented it from or who you are taking a tour from will throw your butt off and not let you ride!! Can’t wait for the webisodes. I love me some Hawaii!!

I think you sign litigation away when you put your signature on the waiver 😉

I know but they also don’t want you acting like an idiot and getting hurt. People will still try to sue even if they signed on the dotted line! :>)

I think this will be great for local tourism, can’t wait to see what they highlight.

😀 I’ll bet the folks at the Hawaii tourism board (or whatever they’re actually called — I’m used to thinking in terms of the Ministry of Tourism, so…) 😉 are eating this promotional tie-in up like nobody’s business — that, and cartwheeling up and down the hallways. 🙂

Come to think of it, not only will it help promote tourism attractions that’ve already been featured on the show, it’ll probably encourage others to seek out a bit of the H50 love as well — parasailing comes immediately to mind, but I’m sure there are tons of others, including historical / natural sites (and sights) 😉 and restaurants / purveyors of well-loved local foodstuffs of note (like Liliha Bakery).

It’s gonna be interesting to see what all they feature, and how they tie it back into the show.

  4. M. Bison says:

Hawaii Five-O has always added to the mystique of Hawaii, I think, but maybe in a more adventurous and (obviously) fictional way. But in general, I think the state has been positively portrayed on the show, both in terms of its natural beauty and its culture.
