Kelvin Han Yee lands the role of Honolulu Police Chief on ‘Hawaii Five-0’

From Ed Moy, Asian Pacific Entertainment Examiner:

Congrats to actor Kelvin Han Yee, who was recently named the new Honolulu Chief of Police on this season’s hit show “Hawaii Five-0.”

Yee is a San Francisco actor who began his career at A.C.T., OSF in Ashland & Berkely Rep., and has been steadily building an impressive list of television credits including Crash (TNT), Lie To Me (FOX), The Mentalist (CBS) and Criminal Minds (CBS).

His character, HPD Chief Makaha, will be introduced in what’s described as “the can’t miss surprising and provocative season finale” for the top-rated series.

Yee has also appeared in many indie projects, including Peter Wang’s 1980’s comedy/drama “A Great Wall Is A Great Wall” and more recently Feodor Chin’s webseries “Golden Boy.”

Chin Ho’s “only friend” at HPD? Or the one he protected/the same friend?

A couple of months back I posted that the Chief of Police might turn out to be the baddie who set up Chin and whom McG senior was investigating. Could be I was right!
