J.R. Orci to leave Five-0 creative team

On twitter today, writer and producer J.R. Orci announced that he will be leaving the writing team for other projects.  His writing credits for Five-0 include: “Nalowale”, “Palekaiko” and “Na Me’e Laua Na Paio”.

@jrorci:  Career update: Leaving the island to pursue other projects. Hope to be able to announce those soon. Been a fun ride launching #H50! Also –>
@jrorci: Will be joining my old friends at FRINGE to crank out some episodes. Gonna be an amazing fourth season! Just don’t blame me for POlivia.

Best wishes to you, my friend and hope to see your upcoming projects soon!

JR Orci – You and the other executives have done a ‘fantabulous’ job with H50’s season 1. Its been a blast and just want to say you will be sorely missed by all of us and wish you nothing but the very best in your future endeavors!!! My name is Val and I’m part of a closed group called “New H50 Guardian Angels 2011”

  2. Linda Stein says:

To JR: My name is Linda and I too am part of the closed group called “New H50 Guardian Angels 2011″ on Facebook. I can not tell you how much I have enjoyed everything you have done on H50 and I am so sorry you are leaving. Our show would not have been as good as it has been without your contibutions!

Good luck in your future projects and come back to H50 if you have the chance, even if it’s just for a visit. Your contribution can only make a fantastic show even better! Mahalo for all the fun! Aloha!

Thanks for bringing us such a great new show! The old Hawaii 5-o was great! The new H5-0 is mind boggling! Enjoying the ride from start to finish!

  4. Bert Hayling says:

I watch and love both H50 and Fringe, so either way, I’ve got it made — that said, H50 wouldn’t be the show it is today without the vision, drive, dedication, TLC, and plain ol’ love of character and story that J.R., Roberto, and Peter have poured into the show from Episode One, Day One; J.R., Sir, you will be missed! (And hey, it’ll be fun to see what you make of Walternate and Fauxlivia). 😉 All the best, eh?

    Much Mahalos and Aloha!
