Emmy magazine photoshoot and article of Hawaii Five-0

This is probably one of the best written and best shot articles that I’ve seen recently.  Writer Shawna Malcolm gets the dish on Peter Lenkov’s bold re-imagining of the classic series, with producer Roberto Orci weighing in being known as the “reboot kings”.  Alex gives some insight on him getting back to surfing, Scott seems more comfortable with the idea of a long running series, Grace talks about fame and making it big on a major network, and Daniel talks of the growth of Chin Ho.

The photos are stylish, and Florian Schneider makes the cast look sexy with a great coloring effect of the sunset (though there were some mixed reviews from fans of the cover photo).

Check out the full photoset on Facebook.  Big Mahalo to alexoloughlin.org (@AlexODotOrg) for the scans!

Good article yes, it’s nice to have some new stuff to read.
The cover is terrible, but the pics inside are great. I love the one with Scott and multiple-frame sunset picture next to him.

  2. Shirley says:

Excellent article! Wish they had talked to Alex a bit more however. Thanks for sharing.

  3. MyMcG says:

Agree with Cecile, the pictures within the article are great, but the one they chose for the cover is horrid.

  4. Kimmer says:

Ooh – they definitely should have used some of the inside pictures for the cover! Hot!

Is there a scan of the article?
