Executive producer Peter Lenkov announced on twitter this morning that the Hawaii Five-0 season 2 Sunset On The Beach will happen September 10th!
So it is written and so it shall be, for Peter sayeth to be true. Clear your schedule, book your flight and pick your spot on the beach!

Sunset on the beach is the Hawaiian advanced screening of the season’s first episode held on one of Honolulu beaches (I think it’s Waikiki, but I’m not sure). They did it for Lost too. From what I’ve read here and there, it takes place between a few days to a full week before the season premiers on TV.
Filming starts next month, S2 premiere in September 🙂

So glad to hear it’s official. The days are just flying by and it will be here soon. Wish I could travel for it but like Merry I will be there virtually & safe travels and have fun to all that will be attending.

First come, first served…people come and pick a spot on the beach early in the day.
It warms my heart to hear SOTB is gearing up! Must mean things are starting to happen for the new season! I so wish I could be there, too, but I”ll be another one sitting at home waiting to see it all right here on this blog! Maybe if H-50 continues long enough, we can all make it to one SOTB in person!!
I am so torn……. I can’t be at SOTB in person and I don’t want to find out what happens in the S2 premiere until I have a chance to watch it in full. Am I going to have to exile myself from all online H50 contact for the time between SOTB and the CBS tv premiere??? (Picturing myself crouching in a closet for a week or so, eyes squeezed shut, hands clamped over ears, chanting, “lalalalalala I can’t hear you lalalalala”.)
Seriously, is there any way to see an online streaming version of the SOTB premiere on the 10th?

Merry you are a nut but I like that cause now I don’t feel so alone :-). A pod cast of SOTB would be very cool maybe Officer can work on that LOL. It will be hard to refrain from checking on things until the premiere airs but knowing others are suffering with me helps a bit. I actually sat here last night and rewatched most of the episodes I have taped because I couldn’t sleep and seeing Steve, Danno and the gang helped take my mind of some personal stuff going on. As always keep up the good work everyone.
